Well, I managed to come away unscathed from encounters with Mr P today. Just as well as it was a beautiful day and I was keen to get out for an evening walk.
Did my favourite regular walk up through Batsford Estate to see the mares and foals. Some new little ones bouncing around. It's lovely to watch the "politics" that goes on in such a large group. The mummies are very protective.
Life is bursting from everywhere at the moment. The Monsieur's Pheasants who have spent the last few weeks doing everything they can to draw attention to themselves have finally managed to get themselves a Bird. Ha, Ha.
Tiny baby bunnies are in abundance. Little fluffy white tails hopping around. Sssoooooo cute. I want one.
Ran into a local farmer the other night on this walk. Apparently the foxes have had a bumper crop of cubs this year. Well they won't be short of grub.
Lots of little fawn ears can be seen sticking up out of the tall grasses in the deer field and the squirrels are racing around in a tizz.
Busy, busy, busy.
